Admissions Overview

Welcome to BACWTT! Thank you for your interest in studying with us.

BACWTT is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing students with inspiring programs. We strive to make our programs accessible and affordable to all.

The programs we offer include:

• Waldorf Early Childhood and Grades Teacher Certification Program (Begins September 19, 2025)
• Foundation Studies in Waldorf Education (Begins September 19, 2025)
• Healing Through Art – Multidisciplinary Visual Arts Program

Admissions Process

For questions about the program structure, application process, or tuition assistance, please speak with our Enrollment Coordinator, Tiffany Lee, by calling 415-479-4400 or by emailing tiffany@bacwtt.org. If you have further questions, we are happy to schedule a conversation with one of our Program Directors by phone, Zoom, or in-person.

You may also attend an online or in-person Visiting Day held regularly from January to July. Find information about our next available Visiting Event here. You may also request to audit a class.

When you are ready to apply:

• Fill out our secure online application form below. Or, if you prefer, use the link also provided below to download a PDF of the application and mail it to us using the address included on the application.
•  Fill out a tuition assistance application (if applicable).
• We will reach out to schedule an interview with you before determining acceptance into the program.

Tuition

The current annual tuition for our Waldorf teacher training, Foundation Studies and therapeutic arts programs are:

*Grants are currently not available for Healing Through Art students, although discounts may be.

Tuition Assistance

Grants and loans are available to students through our Tuition Assistance Program.

Tuition Assistance Program process:

• Speak with our Enrollment Coordinator, Tiffany Lee, for an overview of the Tuition Assistance Program and how it can work for you.
• Complete the Tuition Assistance application form, which will be sent to you upon completing your New Student Enrollment Application.
• Your application will be reviewed by the BACWTT Tuition Assistance Committee.
• You will receive a tuition contract proposal that includes grant and loan options.
• If you are satisfied, sign an enrollment contract and payment plan contract.

Tuition Payments:

Tuition payments are paid in monthly installments using postdated checks or credit card.**

• Foundation Studies payments are spread over 4 months.

• Teacher Training and Healing Through Art payments are spread over 12 months. After graduation, students have 2 years to pay off any loans without interest.

• Foundation Studies students have the option to continue into the 1st Year of the Teacher Training. The Foundation Studies fee will be applied towards Teacher Training tuition and the student has the option of applying for additional aid.

**Payment by credit card will incur a 3% bank processing fee.
