Waldorf Family Weekend
June 29-30, 2024
Saturday, 9am-4pm | Sunday, 9am-1pm
Parenting in the 2020’s
With Keynote Speaker, Ken Smith
Our first Waldorf Family Weekend is an opportunity for parents to explore how parenting from a Waldorf approach can enrich and enliven their lives. In today’s busy and stressful times, the Waldorf approach can bring calmness, centering, and health to the whole family—not just children, but parents too. Being a parent today is not easy, and there is a great deal to be learned along the way. Our keynote speaker, Ken Smith, is the Director of the Bay Area Center for Waldorf Teacher Training and will be sharing innovative and creative ideas that can be applied directly to home life and raising a family.
You will have the opportunity to go deeper in smaller group discussions, artistic classes, and craft groups while your children are enjoying themselves in the children’s camp led by experienced Waldorf teachers. Snacks and lunch are included for all, and families are invited to eat lunch together.
