Golden Bridges School
Seeking an Upper Grades Class Teacher- Updated 7/18/2022

We currently serve preschool – 6th (growing to 8th), with 95 students and 25 staff members in San Francisco’s Portola neighborhood. Our urban farm is in Mission Terrace and outdoor classes and hikes are in McLaren Park.
GBS takes a fresh look at Waldorf education, asking what the children of today, in San Francisco, need from
teachers and education. One major result of this question is the development of a robust outdoor curriculum.
Preschool and Kindergarten rotate through an indoor classroom, urban farm, and hiking days. Grades classes are indoors for Main Lesson and some subject classes and outdoors in large parks, at the school farm, or on field trips.
We are also dedicated to becoming an anti-racist school – committed to social justice, internally and externally – that is inclusive and welcoming to all. We incorporate both anthroposophy and social justice to delve deeper into interrupting Euro- and White-centric curriculum to bring equitable teaching practices and anti-racist policies into the classroom and school life. We ask that teachers be interested and on a path of exploring both anthroposophy and social justice.
It is the operational policy of Golden Bridges School not to discriminate against any person on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sexual orientation or affectional preference, age, or handicap in any of its policies, procedures, or practices. Seeking an Assistant Teacher- Updated 7/11/2022
Garden’s Nest is a licensed home-based Waldorf inspired preschool located in Woodacre, California. I am currently looking for an assistant to help me with the children as we move them through the rhythm of the day and our many activities. The Fall program starting on September 6th is full with 12 children in attendance between the ages of 2 and 4. We are open Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 1:00pm. The program is run with one lead teacher, me, and two assistants. The assistant that I have currently is responsible for food preparation with the children, we provide all the meals, and the behind the scene work related to food
preparation and clean up.
I have a website, a little antiquated but up-to-date, that shows the indoor school space and
the surrounding gardens and animals that are part of our school.
Please contact me if this interests you.

The Mountain School
Seeking an Aftercare Assistant Teacher- Updated 6/9/2022
The Mountain School was founded in 1990 by a group of parents who wanted to offer Marin families an established and yet new approach to early childhood education. Our program offers an environment that recognizes and nurtures the importance of childhood. It is through imitation, use of the imagination, free play, and engaging with nature that a young child grows in a healthy way. Drawing inspiration from the principles of Waldorf Education, preventative discipline, and Kim John Payne’s Simplicity Parenting, we have created a program that is uniquely our own and accessible to all.

Madrone Trail Charter School
Seeking an Executive Director, Kindergarten Teacher, 1st Grade Teacher, 3rd Grade Teacher and Substitutes- Updated 4/18/2022
The Madrone Trail Public Charter School is a public charter K-8 school that has been open in the Medford, Oregon school district since September 2007.
As a public charter school, there is no tuition and the school is open to anyone residing in Oregon. If demand exceeds spaces, preference is given to students residing within the Medford School district.
Madrone Trail adapts Waldorf educational methods to public education. The school features parent and community participation at all levels, including governance.
At Madrone Trail, movement and the arts are not add-ons to a predominately cognitive approach, but are integrated fully into all aspects of teaching. The inclusion of heart and hands is more than a technique for enlivening academic instruction. In a three-fold approach, the heart and the will, as well as the head, are the subjects of educational endeavor. In other words, the arts are not merely a means to an end– improved academic performance-but an end in themselves.
