Final Assembly and Graduation conclude our wonderful 4-week summer session
July 17 was a big day for us. In the morning all our students participated in our Final Assembly, presenting works in eurythmy, drama, and music. Sculpture, paintings, drawings, handwork, form drawing, main lesson books, and Study of Man posters were on exhibit. And, not to be missed, the skits by students and teachers. Temperatures in Orinda, where the assembly took place, mercifully did not soar, but spirits did as audience and participants enjoyed the fruits of the summer work.
The graduation in the afternoon fittingly presented the Class of 2010 as they culminated 3 years of steady effort in an artistic Finale consisting of eurythmy, poetry and song. Christof Wiechert, Leader of the Pedagogical Section, who had taught the graduating students, was their Speaker. Below a potpourri of images from the day’s events:
