The Bay Area Center for Waldorf Teacher Training is very pleased to offer the following Community Enrichment Courses for Spring 2010, and we warmly invite you to join us.

Christiaan Boele was born in the Netherlands in 1956. He attended a Waldorf school. After pursuing professional trumpet and voice studies, he devoted himself to Werbeck Singing, which is based on voice principles and practices stemming from the indications of Rudolf Steiner. Christiaan began offering courses in Germany, Switzerland, Denmark and Finland. He currently conducts master classes, workshops and courses in Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, Canada and the United States. He continues to perform as a soloist and also directs a performance ensemble. In the Bay Area Center for Waldorf Teacher Training he teaches music and leads the summer choir.

This short and insightful book, written by a Waldorf teacher, will provide the basis for conversation and questions of interest to fathers, whether they are baseball fans or not.
Dave is the Assistant Director of the Bay Area Center for Waldorf Teacher Training. In 1974, upon completion of the Waldorf Teacher Training program at Emerson College in England, he began his Waldorf career as a class teacher at the Sacramento Waldorf School. In 1990, Dave became the Chairman of AWSNA (the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America), and he served in that capacity for eleven years. From 2004 through 2008, he worked at the San Francisco Waldorf School, first as the Development Director, then as the Head of Administration. In addition to working on many administrative duties, Dave currently teaches the Threefold Nature of Social Life, Philosophy of Freedom, and Reincarnation and Karma. He and his wife Marianne have two grown children.

Cost: Pay-what-you-can, with a minimum payment of $45.00. A copy of the book is included in the registration fee.
Enrollment: Minimum of 6, maximum of 15; open to parents of children enrolled in a Waldorf, or Waldorf-inspired school.
Through a series of guided exercises and a variety of techniques, participants will be encouraged to explore color, light and darkness, movement and stillness, line and space.
This class is ideal for beginners and those who would like to practice their painting skills.
Jennifer Bundey was one of the founders of the Mt. Barker Waldorf School in Australia in 1979. After completing her class teaching cycle, she studied for two years in the Rudolf Steiner College Arts Program. She worked for 14 years at the East Bay Waldorf School – 8 as class teacher, 6 in Administration – and taught painting to many children and adults. Influenced by the Illuminist tradition, Jennifer is now a working watercolor and acrylic artist with a private teaching practice
