About the Bay Area Center
for Waldorf Teacher Training

The Bay Area Center for Waldorf Teacher Training is a three year, week-end program offering a certificate in Waldorf Education. Classes meet for 30 weekends (Friday evenings and Saturday mornings) September - May, at the Marin Waldorf School in San Rafael (Marin County), and for one full-time month each of the three summers following the academic year, in El Sobrante (at the East Bay Waldorf School).

Throughout the three years of the program, the Bay Area Center for Waldorf Teacher Training integrates pedagogical Waldorf studies with philosophical foundation studies in anthroposophy. Active participation in the arts every weekend and especially during the summer sessions further supports the inner deepening, growth of self-knowledge, and schooling of perception essential for the Waldorf teacher.

Scholarships and other Financial Aid are available.
